The Teaberry Vista is located in the Quehanna Wild Area along the Quehanna Highway. The coordinates 41°15’48.9″N 78°15’06.3″W bring you to the trail entrance. A small dirt pull off area is located here and can fit a few vehicles. Keep in mind the trails and parking area are not maintained throughout the winter. Be sure to use caution when exploring during inclement conditions.

Hiking to the Vista
From the small parking area, the vista is about 0.22 miles away. The trail is marked with yellow paint, making it easy to navigate. The beginning of the trail is a smooth path that winds through the forest, and narrows a bit as you approach the vista.

While the trail to the vista is relatively short, it offers plenty of opportunities to experience the diverse wildlife and plant life that the Quehanna Wild Area is known for. Keep an eye out for deer quietly grazing in the underbrush, and listen for the calls of birds overhead.

A Serene View
As you approach the vista, you make your way down a slight decline. Once you arrive, you’ll be treated to a panoramic view that stretches across the rolling mountains. Its location offers a quiet, reflective space to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you.

In spring and summer, the area is lush with greenery, and the forest is alive with the sounds of birds and insects. Fall, however, is a particularly magical time, as the forest transforms into a canvas of rich autumn colors.

With its stunning landscape and sense of solitude, Teaberry Vista is the perfect spot to escape reality. It’s quick hike and view makes this one of the best kept secret trails in the Quehanna Wild Area.
