Location, Hours, and More
The park is located just west of the entrance to Flight 93 National Memorial. The park is open May through November 11th, from 9:00 am until dusk. A paved parking lot is available, and the park is ADA-accessible. A porta-potty is available for public use near the parking lot.

Exploring Patriot Park
While the park is small, the meaning behind it is enormous. A short walk leads you to the Field of Heroes Display. 7,054 flags represent every person killed in action Post September 11th, 2001. The memorial honors the armed forces and their families for the sacrifice that they made.

Storyboards found surrounding the field display stories of service men and women. At the end of the path sits the Names of the Fallen. Each name of the fallen can be found in books under a gazebo.

The memorial serves as a visual reminder of the price of freedom and serves as a way to keep their name and memory alive. The organization has future plans to expand and create an education center on the property to teach people about the War on Terror and the lives lost during it.

Although the park currently operates seasonally, if you are visiting the area, this quick stop is a very moving and serene place. A beautiful tribute to the people who gave it all to protect the United States.
